by David LaPlantz ·

Sometimes, all we need is a leg up to achieve our goals and dreams. Where do you wish to go? Who do you wish to spend your life with? Can anything really be planned in life?

Popping up from the distant past.

For a period of time in the 1990’s, David played with the “Cup” concept.

Although not totally obvious, this small, dynamic upright “The Doorway at the End of the Hall” related to peeling back the layer of observance, as we try to understand how we got from there to here.
Maybe a familiar exploration you have toyed with in the vast reaches of your mind and memory, huh?

Mixed media, 7 1/4″ high X 5 1/2″ wide X 5″ deep.

“Fern Swirl” Art Brooch.

Humboldt County (Emerald Triangle), CA every now and then shows up in soul of my imagery. After living in Arcata, CA for nearly 36 years something rubs off, doesn’t it?

This art brooch will be in Seattle, along with other newer wearable art forms at Facere Jewelry Art for the Christmas Holidays and beyond.
Check out Facere, a fabulous environment to ornament your wardrobe for the new year!
