Epiphany or Long, String Shadows?

by David LaPlantz ·

A moment of sudden revelation or insight – epiphany.

One can only wonder just how many people in elected office ever experience epiphany? Revelations come with an open mind, courage and the ability to risk, especially risking the unknown. Every day events in elected, higher office display to me that most do not have what it takes for epiphany. They only have the ability to stone wall, antagonize, waste precious time and money while looking down at the voters and up at their puppet string pullers. I wonder why the politician’s offices have electricity? They always seem to be in the dark, lack the vision to see and courage to do the right thing, while pretending to be, for and about, the citizens who elected them.
