As the new year begins, one can only wonder what distractions, smoke/mirrors and mis-di-rec-tion will be orchestrated by the Demos and Repubs to keep the American public off balance and from seeing the real dark, back room deals and corruption?

Let’s make ’em do their jobs and stop them from playing both ends towards the middle! Let’s scare the hell out of the 2 phony, baloney parties that pretend to represent the people. We know who you are, who you really represent, what you do/don’t do and where you live……. Beware!

How did we get from there to here?

As today is a new beginning (or is it?) so too, in this image, do we travel back in time to another beginning.

In a rear view mirror, you’ve seen this door before, the opening of David’s imagination, traveling from the now back to the then beginning.

As we move backwards, sideways and forward, may our movements be always meaningful and progressive in thoughts, actions and deeds……

Tools and the hands that massage them to make art are a magical union.

Humans are blessed by cognitive, spiritual and per-son-ni-pu-la-tive actions.

Here we are again, another arbitrary day when life stops and starts anew.

Finding the keys for a new year, a fresh start (perhaps) is not always that easy, is it?

Old habits never die, but the arbitrary stop ‘n start day is an opportunity for death and rebirth…..

As my favorite Jazz pieces suggest the individual brooch images to me, coupled with 8 days a week to wear ’em, your choice is limitless like the freeform, improvisational magic of Jazz! If only the rest of life were so easy, freeform and improvisational……
