Looking in the rearview mirror, then forward…

by David LaPlantz ·

Looking back through my historic, jewelry catalogue, I revisited a brooch I made on August 15, 1982. Remembering back, besides this original, an edition of 12 brooches were created with variations of colors, but always using the same size images and composition. As most artists realize, looking backwards leads to examining the present and wondering about the beyond. The creative journey is always in flux, never knowing what may spring forth next, but being ever confident.
