“PickiYaso Alone” Brooch

by David LaPlantz ·

Strolling through the sketches, this image jumped off the paper and said, “It’s time to make up real. I wanna live in the tactile, visual and wearable world like my sisters and brothers! Let’s punch, saw and finish me proudly before Santa drinks his Christmas milk and savors his cookies!” And so it came to pass, that a simple request was granted. Life was breathed into the paper image and “PickiYaso” was born into the wearable world of jewelry art. May he live long & prosperous!

“Bottom & PickiYaso” Together Brooches

by David LaPlantz ·

Many pathways from the perimeter allow for full speech patterns and lines of attraction that blend the two different languages into one easy duo of thought. What? Who writes this guy’s stuff?

“Reflective: Objects of Little Import” Relection

by David LaPlantz ·

Objects of “little import” as seen in the real and then in reflection. Upon reflection, much of life’s happenings seem of “little import” or are they? When seen, in hindsight, within our memory mirror, perhaps the “little import” is easily understood as a valuable lesson and worth re-visiting. Like some mirrors clearly state, “objects in mirror are closer than appear!”
