October can be chock filled with surprises and this year was no exception! Changes, re-evaluations, adjustments and pain took prominence. These three brooches tell many stories and will forever stand as testaments to a particular number and series of human events.

Real HomeLand Security will be what each person has to protect oneself in the home and carried on their person. If we think we can depend on the D.C. paper created paper force, think again. That force is a paper screen, a veil that was created to distract each of us. Real personal security comes from within, from the deeper knowledge and dependance of oneself mixed with basic survival skills we all possess, yet rarely utilize. Think about it…

Syria, sequester, drones, etc. It all depends on which side of the fence you reside on. Never mind what might be right and fair for the country as long as the money flows and your shirt appears to have no blood or guilt embedded into the fibers. Remember, appearances are everything!

Tiny dancers can have big feet which lead to unexpected consequences — sorta like the event President Obama wants to create in Syria. The consequences may not be worth the effort. Why spend more dough off shore that could best serve positive consequences within our borders? How much more blood must be shed to drive the CIA and NSA? Let ’em have a car wash to give them some Sonic lunch money!

Let’s blow out, the war candle before the Middle East blows up, in an even more horrific way.

Or, we could try a sociological (accent on the logical) experiment. How about the military industrial complex folks and others who believe we should attack Syria banding their money together (instead of Uncle Sam’s taxpayer funds), but assuring the world that they and they alone are responsible monetarily and personally, for any deaths, destruction, criminal activities (in other words, complete and full responsibility) for the acts of war that they are personally funding? Perhaps then we’d see who shows up the first day of war. Oh yes, how about the major CEO’s of the military arms companies being the first wing tips on the ground and that they remain for the duration also?
