“Blind RedDot” Brooch

by David LaPlantz ·

The blind red dot sees all, knows all and still will not give up the truth or admit to same. Sorta like the politicians wanting to be elected or re-elected, they simply refuse to tell the truth, acknowledge the truth and/or admit the truth.

So why should voters re-ward their false faces and crimes against humanity? Better yet a re-ward for their capture and if found guilty, their conviction, since they do not already possess one.

“Tagua Linker”

by David LaPlantz ·

Traveling around the neck perimeter, the linking devices, whether physical or image driven work like book chapters. The links or visual image rounds build a momentum and tension that is finally resolved when the beginning meets the end. The spacers may also add a slight diversion required to relax one’s eyes.

When viewed as the whole composition, this electric version is similar to the concept record album with so many cuts on each side that begin and end the tale. A dose of continuity allows for even breathing and a gentle exhaling of satisfaction…
